Obesity, Headaches, Normal Cholesterol Level. Lap Band Surgery. Should I Go For It?
Hello , I'm going to doctor tommorow to discuss lap band surgery but I'm somewhat concern . The reason is because I'm a smoker have been for over 30 yrs, but I don't have height blood or cholesterol tg. My obesity is I think hereditary
Both mother and father side. But I've never liked salt for some reason it alway gave me an instant headache. Could it be something else and if I stop smoking now how long would it take for them to do surgery if everything checks out ?

regarding the surgery whether you should go for it or not depends on lot of things. it depends on any co morbid( accompanying) conditions.
it also depends on your personal choice and operating doctors advice.
regarding the smoking. different doctors have different preferences. so it's better if you consult your surgeon in advance.
