ON And OFF Swelling In My Right Groin..Hernia

i m 30 year female i have ON and OFF Swelling in my right groin ..doctors were suspecting hernia so they told me to go for ultrasound . but in ultra sound report tells Enalrge lymphnode 2*1.6cm from past 3 months i seeing swelling .. what i should do ..

Hi.. A lone enlarged lymphnode is not of major concern. I think, just follow up with the swelling.. If you develop any other symptoms and any changes in the swelling, consult your doctors then...

Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
An enlarged lymphnode can be due to infections or even it can be a benign enlargement;so see if there is any pain tenderness;redness on that and let the doctor examine.As for hernia see the off and on swelling when standing and do coughing to see if the swelling gets protruded on cough and it goes away when pushed inside this is the diagnostic test during physical examination used to identify hernia.Such a swelling is hernia.Follow up with your doctor and get examined again.He will o the needful.
