Numbness In The Feet, Swelling In The Feet. Have Diabetes. Any Treatment?

i am diabetic and was having numbness in my feet which i know is diabetic neuropathy. I am not having any pains or burns in thelegs or feet. Occassionaly my feets swell but since using the ted stockings no more. For some time now the numbness is in the legs alos. Initially i was thinking it was due to the radiotherapy i had. I am to see my doctor tomorrow. I have been using ted stockings.

Hello,
Yes you seem to be having diabetic neuropathy.
Other causes which might be aggravating your numbess may be deficiency of VIT D and VIT B 12 .
You must control your diabetes meticulously.
You must control your serum lipid profile.
Take supplements of VIT D and VIT B 12.
As far as medication for neuropathy are concerned,you can use medicines like GABAPENTIN,DULOXETINE etc.
It is better to consult a diabetologist for proper evaluation.
