Numbness In The Ball Of The Right Foot, Athletes Foot For Left Leg. Prescribed Ketoconazole . Muscle Pain Exists. Suggestion?
For about two weeks I have had some numbness in the ball of my right foot. I had Athletes foot in my left foot and took Ketoconazole as prescribed by my dermitoligist for 6 weeks. It can back worse after I stopped the medication. So I decided to take Lamisil. Today I noticed that my left foot had swelled and I have some muscle pain in my calf.
hi, Most cases of athlete's foot can be cured with over-the-counter antifungal products and basic good hygiene. Wash and dry your feet (including between the toes) twice a day, change socks daily, and don't wear the same shoes day after day to allow them time to dry completely before wearing them again. Sprinkle antifungal powder on feet and in your shoes daily. Antifungal sprays are also effective at managing the infection.
Continue treatment for 2 weeks after the infection has cleared to prevent it from recurring.
if you dont take it for longer time, it becomes difficult to treat. lamisil is also good drug, you can take both ketoconazole cream or oral and lamisil together.
wishing you good health
