Noticing Heavy Bleeding After Vaginal Birth Through Suction

I gave birth to my son 2 months ago with no problems, vaginal birth with only suction having to be used to remove baby . I then started low-ogestrel birth control pills on Saturday March 1st. After taking first week of pills I started having very heavy bleeding, change pad every 2 hours. Now it has been 14 days of heavy bleeding and I am on last week of pills for first month package which are the non active pills. I am just wondering if this is normal or not and what advice you can give me.
