Noticing Dark Red Discharge After Urinating. What Is It?

Hello, I am a 23 yr old married woman and within the past week I've noticed a dark red discharge after urinating. I do not know what this is. I originally thought it could be my ovulation time but its approaching 2 weeks now so I'm just not sure. There is no pain when I use the restroom it's only the discharge. Do you know what this could be?

Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
Its critical to identify whether this is bleeding or something else. U urine test shall be very necessary. Coupled with a good clinical evaluation and history, it would critical to exclude local lesions, ovulation bleeding, chronic menstrual flow, or other conditions that could mimic blood flow like dyes, drinks or hematuria. I would be important to know if this is the first time you are experiencing this or not? and whether you took a drug you have never been taking before lately or not.
My advice is you consult your family physician.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
