Noticed Sticky Fluid Released During Urination, Difficulty In Urinating Continuously. Sexual Health Check Normal

Hi, I recently went to the bathroom and have noticed a sticky fluid being released during urination, and I'm also finding it difficult to urinate continuously yet needing to urinate every few minutes.
I haven't had sexual intercourse since my last sexual health check which came back negative for sexual infections?
I'm rather worried and would appreciate any information.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
This type of situation may be due to ,
1 Phosphaturia ( phosphate in urine or after urination).
2 Pus cells
3 Albumin ( albuminuria).
4 May be seminal fluid ( semen as common belief).
In my opinion please get in complete examination of urine for culture .
Also serum creatinin level examination for any kidney disorder.
Consult your urologist and get his opinion.
Good luck.

General Surgeon Dr. M Y Shareef's  Response
HI ! If all your urine tests have been normal, but the symptoms are persisting, then you may discuss with your doctor to rule out a prostatic infection for which he may suggest you for a semen analysis along with its culture and sensitivity test with the help of prostatic massage if need be. He may also advise you to go for an ultrasound abdomen to know the status of your urinary tract organs in this case. In chronic prostitis, the symptoms may persist for a long time with normal test results, and in that case a long term antibiotic on consultation with your doctor has to be taken. Wish you an early recovery.
