Noticed Irregular Heart Beat Which Is Low

I have cardiomyopathy and ive been noticing an irregular beat. My heart rate stays low, usually anywhere from 65-72 or so, my heart feels like it pauses and then follows with a hard beat. I feel it everytime and its becoming more frequent. Should I be alarmed ?

It's seems you have ether atrial fibrillation or extrasystolies, which are common type of arrhythmias in patients with cardiomyopathies. If you have seen your doctor and you have chronic arrhytymia everything is OK and you should not worry with the heart rate from 65-72. You should only take your medications. But if you haven't seen your doctor since you noticed irregular beat you should visit him/her and take an ECG surely .
Hope I could help you.
If you have further questions I will be happy to help.
Wish you good health
