Not Married. Having Irregular Periods With Clots. What Are The Complication?

Hi , i am 40 years of old women , single , never been married , i have a problem with menstruation , from last month i have problem , i had my menstruation twice in a month and not bleeding well , just saw like clotting blood , again i had my period from yesterday also not bleeding just seen some clotting bleed and not bleeding as normal and i am really worried please advise what to do and why is that. Hi,clots seen in menstrual blood may be normal. it may be due to-
1.tampoons you use. because the blood is blocked for a while it gets clotted.
2.fibroids in uterus. fibroids or polyps in uterus are not uncommon cause of clotting of menstrual blood especially at your age.
3.endometriosis-though uncommon at your age, it might be a possibility.

Try to see a gynaecologist nearby you who can rule out these using sonographic guidance.hope that helps. take care! :)
