Nose bleeds. Stopped with cold kleenexs. Taking plendil for BP, crestor for cholesterol. Ways to prevent bleeding?

For the last 2 days I ve been having nosebleeds about 3 each day. I get them to stop after a few minutes by using cold kleenexs. I m taking mg plendil each morning for blood pressure & 10 mg crestor each nite for cholesterol . I ve rarely had nosebleeds in the past. I m 67 years old. I m also a smoker. What can I do to stop having these nosebleeds?

The commonest reason of nose-bleeds at your age with the history you provided is hypertension, loosening support of the blood vessels with age.
Try to take blood pressure during he attack.
You may need an additional treatment with consultation of your Cardiologist.
Well. smoking will have a direct impact on this .
