Normal For Child To Have Painful And Squishy Bump On Head?

My 10 month old son Fell From the bed onto the top of his head (tile floor) a week ago. Took him to ER. Checked out fine in regular exam (eyes, coordinación, response, etc) but he still has a bump on the top of his head (on the hairline) that is squishy (slightly purple) and painful to the touch. He seems completly normal otherwise...Should I take him back to the hospital? Could he have a fracture? Thank you for your answer

Hello and Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through the case and found that if all sensory response are normal then it might be due blood clot on top of head.

So apply any muscle relaxant gel and also press with hot water bag. It will dissolve.

If it is not subside in 2-3 days then go for consultation.

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks,
