Normal erection during masturbation. High body temperature, sweating, no erection when with girl. Suggestions?

Hi Doc,

I get a normal erection and able to masturbate. But, when am with my girl cuddling and kissing her and when she tries to rub me down there, I can't seem to get an erection. When am with my girl, my body temperature shoots up and I sweat profusely, which I think is hindering my normal erection. But, after she's gone, I have to suffice myself with masturbation, at which time I have a normal erection.

We understand your concerns

Your problems seems to be purely psychological. The heating of body during sexual pre play is very much normal and mild sweating is also normal. But you are apprehensive of these things. You are anxious about your performance and therefore your erection is not normal.

Leave the anxiety away. Sex is not everything in life. Give sex little weightage and you will perform better. And for a start, do not masturbate for atleast a week and then approach a girl with confidence.

Wish you speedy recovery.
