No Periods, Tender Breast. Had Unprotected Sex. Took Postinor. Pregnancy Test Came Negative. What Is It?

I had unprotected sex on March 6. I took postinor 2 sd on March 9. I went to the gynecologist about two weeks ago and the pregnancy test came back negative. Its now almost 6 weeks later and my period still hasn't come. My breasts hurt, I'm constipated and really stressed out. Could the test be wrong? Is a six week delay normal?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The delay in your periods seems to be due to a hormonal disturbance. This can happen due to frequent use of emergency contraceptive or thyroid imbalances or PCOD. Few blood tests will help in detecting the exact cause.
