No Periods, Movements In The Stomach. Pregnancy Test Report Negative. Other Causes?
hi i am 18 years old and have not had my period for atleast 5 months about a month ago i started feeling alot of movement in my stomach and as time passes it seems to increasee.. i took a pregnancy test that came back negative and have not had any cravings or other pregnancy sympthoms but the movement in my stomach....do you have any idea why this could be happening?
There are several reason of delayed period or OLIGOMENORRHOEA. You also exclude pregnancy by negative test.
You are probably suffering from Ovarian cyst or PCOD and other causes are thyroid problem, over wt or extreme wt loss, psychological prob, stress, eating disorder, hormonal imbalance etc.
I suggest you to do a USG for lower abdomen and some hormone profile like LH/FSH & Thyroid profile to know the underlying pathology.
Then consult with your gynecologist and take advice accordingly.
Be well and take care.
