No Periods. Sonography Shows PCOD. Pain Near Lower Abdomen. Prescribed Drofem. Suggestions?
I have not got my periods for 6 months and my sonography shows Pcod frm last 3 days I was experiencing slight pinching pain near my lower abdomen went to gynac today she suggested me to take tab drofem for 2 days as she feels my menses will be anytime around looking at the endometrial thickened and measures 15.1mm in width then she suggested in case I don't get then take devivry tab for 3 days is her advice right as she is a new gynac

Your gyne is right in prescribing the medicines. Drofem contains both Drotaverine and Mafenemic acid and can reduce the pain due to uterine contraction and intestinal spasm.
Deviry contains Medroxyprogesterone acetate and will result in withdrawal bleeding within a week of stopping it. But you should start regular treatment for PCOD. You should discuss with your gynecologist about the specific treatment for PCOD.
