No Interest In Eating, Only Powder Milk And Complan, Rice, Eggs, Very Thin, Worms In Stomach. Medication?

hi doctor.i have a cousin he is about 2.5 years old,since he is small he i.eat given milk to drink.so he is really thin and looks like disnutrieted .only powder milk and complan is given to him.he dont like to eat anything except rice and eggs .i consult to his parents they told me that he has a worm in his stomach so that why he dont like to eat.so please let me know what really is happening to him.whats the actual cause why is he not wanting to eat????and whats the help hhe should be given so that he will stay eating??? thanks

1-3YEARS(TODDLERS) age group are called as "PHYSIOLOGICAL ANOREXICS".
Loss of appetite is common in this age group..
Until & unless the baby's activity is fine and there's no other illness no need to worry..
But its the responsibility of parents to see to it that he eats quality food by making it more acceptable and tasty..
Even if he's eating less, giving quality food is very important which supplies him with all nutrients, vitamins and minerals..
Ideally food should contain cereals, pulses, green leafy vegetables, fruits, milk..nonveg food also can be given..
For worm infestation five him TAB ALBENDAZOLE 400mg (1tab today night followed by 1 after 15days)..
Deworming should be done once in 6 months...
