No Bleeding After Taking Mifeprestone For Abortion. What To Do?

Hi my wife is pregnant of 14 days and above She take MTP Kit tablet as per refer by chemist and take One Mifepristone Orally but bleeding not done then after 12 hour she take another 2 tablets ( Misoprostol ) orally again bleeding not done after 24 hour again she take 2 tablets (Misoprostol) orally. 6 hours gone but bleeding not done kindly suggest us what we can do or if have any serious issue also tell.

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

At this early in pregnancy, the amount of bleeding that she would experience will be very light. BUT, it is not always successful, and given the possible lack of response to the medication, it is time to take her in for a blood HCG level and possibly an ultrasound. It is possible that she is off on the dating of the pregnancy or that the pregnancy is not in the uterus - called an ectopic pregnancy.
