New Born Sleeps For Long Hours Even After Being Fed For Small Time, Gulps Formula Feed Even After Being Breastfed. Worrisome?
my 6 week old baby breastfeed only for 5 minutes and then sleep for 4 5 hours at stretch ..and in night sometime 7 8 hours at a stretch...Due to which sometimes when she keeps on crying even after breastfeed i have to feed him formula feed so that he is not empty stomach and sometimes she gulp down 60 ml 90 ml even after breastfeed....and she breast feeds 7 8 times a day only not more than 5 minutes.....Should i be worried?

Hi..meha.., whether the baby sleeps or awake, you need to breast feed the baby
every 2 hours once..you need not hesitate to wake up or wait until baby wakes..
you must breast feed it frequently...
