Need to get a fairer complexion. Any medications or diet?

I was born fair as a child. I was almost white and had pink lips . When I was about 4, I started swimming daily between 3-4 pm. I am Indian and live in India. Now at 13 I am dark (brown).and have brown lips with slightly pinkish lower lips. I am conscious about this as according to Indians a fairer complexion is preferred. This is the standard of beauty. I have nice facial features and I am sure if I manage to attain a fairer complexion I will feel slightly more beautiful, 1. My question is will I ever be able to return to my birth complexion? (I use SPF 30 Olay sunscreen every day religiously and take care of my skin) 2. What suggestions do you have to get a fair and healthy complexion? Any particular foods, products, etc? Thank you so much.

Thanks for the query .
You can use Vitamin C serum on your face daily basis . You can get it over the counter and it is safe to use it daily at night on the full face and neck .
You will not get the birth complexion but it will bring about a total change in the tone and texture of your skin .
You should also have many anti oxidants and beta carotenene and fruits .
