Need Medication For Throat & Ear Pain

Hello doctor I son is 2 and half years old.. he was suffering from throat infection and ear pain and he was prescribed with some antibiotics. now he got continuous cough and did not have any pain. I gave him augmentin syrup and nutrolite. now can I give him mucolite for continuous cough......

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history about your child.
It must have been started with common cold which is usually left untreated and then one get the complications like he has got.
Augmentin is still the medicine of choice, only thing is that you have to give him the dosages as advised by your Pediatrician as per the body weight in three divided dosages for it to be completely effective and also need to take a cough suppressant not the mucolytic.
Do not give Mucolite, instead give cough syrup/suppressant
