Need Medication For Sore Throat Which Is Causing Difficulty To Swallow

I have had a very tight and sore throat for three days where it's painful and hard to swallow, and there are red spots on my throat. Today my chest is very tight and I spat up yellowish phlegm with blood streaks this morning. My OBGYN gave me meds for strep throat; does this seem like the correct diagnosis?

Thanks for your query . I have gone through your query.
The sore throat can be because of the streptococcal infection. Nothing to be panic, your physician has given a right diagnosis. You can continue the medicines and do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
