Need Medication For Sinusitis,nasal Pain & Discomfort Behind Eyes
Have had cold temp cough for over a week still persists with sinusitis and nasal pain and discomfort behind eyes when bending I have flucloxacillin in house should I take antibiotics to try and clear it was off work for 2 days now back at work but still feel unwell

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sinusitis,nasal pain & discomfort behind eyes . I would suggest you to take steam thrice a day to relieve the congestion , take benadryl twice a day and drink warm glass of water with one spoon honey in it twice a day . Consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order tests like CT scan , X-ray or blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe decongestants like Sudafed , decongestant nasal drops and antibiotics are given, they are usually given for 10 to 14 days . Doctor may also prescribe anti allergic or recommend surgery ( like turbinectomy ) in severe cases .
