Need Medication For Irregular Periods And Cramping

Hi,my period is 33 days long,last one was Jan 7th,trying to conceive but I bled some on Jan 26-28 2014 and started cramping and spotting Feb 3rd and cramping mildly Feb 4th 2014 and I'm bleeding mildly but only when I urinate and have some stringy blood that comes out too but I'm not suppose to get my period until Feb 9the 2014...what could be wrong?

hello,

There are several reasons of irregular period like PCOD, hormonal imbalance, over wt/ extreme loss, mental stress, emotional upset, eating disorder, thyroid problem etc.

Therefore, you need to undergo one USG lower abdomen along with some hormone tests like LH/ FSH, prolactin, Thyroid profile, serum Progesterone for complete evaluation. Kindly, consult with your gynecologist and take advice accordingly.

Cyclic progesterone pill (D16 to D25) is quite effective to treat irregular period. You must control body wt, avoid stress, take healthy low carbohydrate diet with avoidance of fatty food and sleep properly.
