Need Medication For Cough, Vomiting And Fever

My 20 month old daughter who has never been sick before, had a fever 3 nights ago. It got up to 101.8. I treated her with childrens motrin and the fever subsided in 20 minutes. I had to give her the motrin every 8 hours for the day/night. She had no other symptoms of sickness and by the morning her fever was gone and she seemed perfectly happy and healthy. Today she woke up later then usual. At lunch time while in her high chair she threw up. She didnt choke on anything, wasnt coughing. I managed to catch the vomit in a pot as I could tell she was getting ready to throw up. When I went to get her out she started crying saying she wanted the rest of her jello. I fed her a couple more bites and noticed she was having a hard time staying awake. Even though she woke up later than normal and was tired earlier than she usually is, I decided to lie her down for a nap. She fell right to sleep. She could barely stay awake on our way in there. Very unlike her. She took a 5 hour nap until I got so worried I woke her up. Once she was awake she was acting out of character. She was very irritable and seemed very tired. She kept laying on me and was struggling to keep her eyes open. She was acting very strange. I have 4 kids whom have all had small sicknesses and Ive never seen any of my kids act so strange. She was acting so tired and unlike herself and was asking to go back to bed. I decided to let her sleep more and she was almost asleep by the time I got her in her bed. Ive never had a child sleep so much yet act exhausted and so out of character. Is this something I should worry about or could she simply be tired from her body fighting something off? I dont like to take them to the emergency room unless absolutely needed. I am very nervous about the way she is acting but unsure of what could be wrong and what I am to do about it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond with advice.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hai, I am a pediatrician from India. Mother's the best judge. Putting together high grade fever, excessive sleeping and not behaving her usual self, I advice you to take her to an emergency room immediately. She might be in the initial stages of an infection involving central nervous system. I would also like to know if she's still running fever or if she's coherent in behaviour. Please feel free to contact if needed. If you are happy with my answer, kindly rate it.
