Need Medication For Chicken Pox For A 5 Year Old

My 5 year old allergic child has developed chicken pox. It started on Wednesday. She is fairly covered. She feels like she has got some inside her mouth and she is extremely itchy. She appears to be ok in herself. She has been feeling sick tonight and has a cough which has aggravated her asthma for about 10 days. She has redness surrounding every spot. One of her eyes has been red and bloodshot since yesterday. Is all this normal for chicken pox or do I need to get her checked by a Dr?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM
She may be considered to be given some antihistaminic and antipyretic medicine to the get the symptoms relieved.
calamina lotion can be applied for the itching.
For exaggerated symptoms of breathing which should be manged what she was earlier taking for the asthma.
This is a problem of about three weeks.for three weeks the patient is contagious to other healthy contacts.
Hope the query is answered.
Thankx
