Need Advice On The Ultrasound Tests And Lab Tests.

I started a walk/run program for the last month. Need to loose 15 pounds since having a baby 2 yrs ago. Developed pain and swelling in both legs after a run, Lab work shows elevated sgot 40 and sgpt 66. Ultrasound of legs negative for clots.MD says retest in 1 month. Should I be conserned?

You may need a stricter diet and fitness schedule to make you more healthy. Please remember not to over exert yourself. If the leg ultrasound is normal then there is no concern regarding clots in the leg veins. The SGOT and SGPT are not significantly elevated in you. You can try an lose the 15 pounds over 3 to 6 months. Please do not skip meals.
