Headache can be due to various causes. The presence of accompanying symptoms also helps in the diagnosis. These symptoms are vomiting
, loss of consciousness
, visual complaints, and weakness of legs and worsening of headache with change of posture or cough.
The presence of cough headache may suggest a possibility of neurological problem in the back side of the brain/Spinal cord
. This can be ruled out by doing a MRI scan of the brain and cervical spine
I sincerely advice you to undergo a neurological assessment by a local neurologist
who will clinically assess you and guide you through appropriate investigations.
If the examinations and MRI scans are normal; you may benefit with simple analgesics
Hope this helps
