Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in your neck and upper back could be related to cervical spondylosis. An X-ray of the cervical spine and MRI will help in the exact diagnosis. Meanwhile avoid using a pillow and take some mild pain killers for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
