Nausea, burping, low grade fever, losing weight after having brownies with date expired. Food poisoning?

I think I may have gotten food poisoning from eating expired brownies, about an hour after eatin them I began to feel sick and then I kept burping. Then I felt nauseous. Around 4-5 hours later I developed a low grade fever in the low 90s. Also I have lost around 10 lbs. I now am 107 lbs and am a 17 year old male. I have always had stomach aches after I eat, but now it's crazy.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. It is sometimes the case that nausea and burping are indicators of gastritis. Please try omeprazole or any other PPI or ranitidine to find out if that feels better. You have to take these medications before food and maintain a strict time schedule on food. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
