As per your info, this condition which you have is called coccydynia which simply means painful tail bone. This condition can become chronic if proper medication and precautions are not taken. Firstly you should always use padding around that area while sitting down. Avoid any form of injury or trauma to the area by continuous irritation of that area. Avoid sitting down in one position of too long. Consult with your physician who can prescribe you anti-inflammatory drugs and if necessary cortisone injections can be infiltrated locally to provide relief. The form on treatment depends on the status and severity of the underlying damage to the bone based on MRI report. Hope this helps. Regards.
