My Spouse Is Having A Cardiac Angiogram.

My spouse is having a cardiac angiogram early this Friday morning. How do you think she will feel the very next evening. Well enough to go out to a dinner ? I m assuming no stents are going to be placed. Thanks for any info.

You should take it easy over the weekend. No lifting of anything over 10 lbs. The femoral artery does get punctured during the angiogram and excessive movements may cause it to start bleeding again (internally) . Look for swelling or tenderness in the crotch area. Some bruising is normal.
