My Son Is Suffering From Mucusy Stools, Is This Diarhea ?

My son is 4.5 mths old . He is passing stools with mucus since he was 2 mths old.recently I got his test done it shows greenish yellow colour loose stools with mucous present and pus cells os occasional/hpf and pH is 5.5. plzzzz guide me is this diarhea or milk intolerance .

Stool with mucus is mainly due to infection in the lower intestines, like colon, rectum and has to be treated with antibiotics. One more possibility is due to parasitic infestation and it should also be kept in mind.
