My Son Has Started Having Colds Which We Thought Its Normal

My son is 13 years old and he has a cold for as long as i can remember. Since my son was little boy around 3, he started having colds which we thought its normal. It sometimes stop for a couple of days but then again return. Now that we are here in UK, the colds never stop, he s been check by a doctor and they said that it may be an allergy . My son took a pill prescribed by a doctor but still it wont stop. Please do help us. thank you.

Yes, allergic problems do last for longer durations, hence that is quite possible. Now talk to your doctor about the allergy test which is helpful to determine the specific allergen causing this problem. Then the treatment can be decided based upon the result.
