My serum prolactin is 122.91 ng/mL. What does it mean ?

respected sir , am unmarried but i had taken a blood test in that test my serum prolactin is 122.91 ng/mL So whether any problem in that sir wether i got prengnency

Hello.Welcome.high prolactin doesn't mean pregnancy but it does mean many other things.Your level of prolactin is very high and you should be investigated for hirsutism,PCOD,hypothyroidism.Also a CT brain should be done to rule out pituitary adenoma.Consult the Gynec for detailed investigations.Good luck.

hyperprolactinamia does not mean your pregnant.
there are no of causes like, Unexplained in about 30 percent, pituitary tumors ,primary hypothyroidismIngestion of certain drugs, including phenothiazines, certain high blood pressure meds,
consult your physician to find the cause

A high prolactin level doesn't mean that you are pregnant. Don't worry. You need to consult a gynecologist so that medication will be given to lower the prolactin level
