Dear sir, I can gather that your wife was diagnosed to have Rheumatoid arthritis and she is already on a good dose of disease modifying drugs.Has your doctor any time suggested you to get an Anti CCP test done? This test is very specific for rheumatoid arthritis.Anyways ,I would suggest you to continue the present line of treatment ,as the drugs may take some time to act. Please be in regular follow up with your treating doctor. You should also visit a physiotherapist for joint mobilisation.

Hope you find my answer useful .Take care.

Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic forum

She has rheumatoid arthritis. Please follow the treatment what has been suggested by her dr. RA medications has to be taken for years, and not to be stopped without dr's advice.

Nutrition is a very imp factor in managing RA, low fat, low sugar, more calcium, more of protective food like walnuts, almonds, nuts, fish oil etc will help her .

For symptomatic relief she can take homeopathy ,safely. It has excellent results in RA.
