My Period Was Normal Earlier. But I Am Not Getting Pregnant

i am a 20 year old female and just got married 8 months ago. my husband and i want to start trying for a baby but havent started yet.. my period is 12 days late and has never been late more than 4 days. i have never had an irregular period.. my cycle is 28 days usually. i have tried 3 home pregnancy tests and all are negative. should i go see a doctor now?

I do feel that you should wait for a week to see if you get your periods back. Once it is more than 40 days since your last menstrual period, then do repeat the pregnancy test and consult the gynecologist irrespective of the result.
