My mom has metastatic breast cancer which has spread to bones and lungs.

hi my mom is 56yrs, has metastatic breast cancer which has spread to bones and lungs. her last chemo was done in April 2010 and her follow up pet scan report was clear(April) but a yr later the disease is back with same intensity. what can i expect now? can she b cured ?

The cancer in the said patient seems to be in a very advanced stage. chemotherapy will not be of significant help. radiotherapy too may not be helpful. The patient now has the option of palliative care.
