My Left Jaw Is Paining, Please Help

I cannot open or close my mouth fully. My left jaw is very sore and it is painful to even talk. I noticed that it started to hurt in the middle of my workout yesterday and I woke up with a stiff neck on my right side. I can only put my front teeth together. What would you recommend I do?

it might be a case of tempero mandibular joint dislocation[tmj dislocation].causes may be trauma ,mastication of hard substances ,yawning e.t.c.Treatment ranges from manual adjusting by an oral surgeon or by surgery.dont neglect this problem & visit an oral & maxilliofacial surgeon as early as possible.if u neglect this for a long duration it may become a case of ANKYLOSIS which is an advanced case.

Dentist Dr. Nikhil Dutt's  Response
You a need a TMJ appliance to cushion your Temporomandibular joints. Please apply a muscle relaxant cream on the TMJs and preceded by hot fomentations. Dont overuse the jaws and apply too much pressure.
T4k TMJ appliance should be worn by you regularly.
