My Husband Has A High Cholesterol And Normal Trigclycerides Levels

Hi there, My husband was just told he has high cholesterol a total of 240. His Hdl was 42 and his Ldl was179 however and that his triglyceride level was normal. I have no number on this. But from everything i ve been reading is this even possible? I should add that he is 31 and not overweight (5 ft 11 and weighs 160) and his mom has borderline high cholesterol.

a high cholesterol is not always a bad thing, especially at that level. Your LDL's are good (I mean your husbnds) so I wouldn't worry as long as his triglyc's were okay.
