My granddaughter had a small red bump on the back and it is keep growing. What it is?

My grandaughter had a small red bump on the back of her head when she was a baby. She is 9 years old now and it looks like a flesh colored mole it keeps growing and is painful to her if you touch it. She is very self conscious about it. One doctor said it was a wart but I don't think so. Any suggestions?
