Your father needs to be examined by a competent nephrologist and it should be done as early as possible to prevent further deterioration into an End Stage Renal Disease requiring dialysis on a chronic basis.

Homeopath Dr. Arif. K. Kaware's  Response
If your father is diabetic from long time he will be definitely suffering from kidney disease ;as diabetes causes damage to the kidneys this is called Diabetic Nephropathy. It can get complicated to chronic renal failure.Once there is chronic renal failure any new kidney complaint coming with further increase in creatinine will be called acute on chronic.
