My Daughter Is Suffering From Typhoid And Chest Infection. What Is The Right Diet For Her ?
hii my daughter is 4 yrs her w8 is 13.5 kg she is havng typhoid she has fever n chest infection wht should i do i m gvng her safspan anti biotic plz tell something for her diet she is nt eating properly n plz tell tht in typhoid chldren shouldnt be givn oil n rice?n tel me wht else i should avoid for her

Have you gone for S,widal test?as there is respiratory infection if S. widal is positive then go for typhoid treatment.
Go for blood TC,DC,to rule out res. infection.
In typhoid give liquid diet as there is intestinal infection give diet which is easyly digestible.
Give milk diet,fruit juices,rice,curd,butter milk.

Typhoid usually affects GI tract and menifest as Diarrhoea, constipation, fever, rash, headache, nausea vomiting rarely affects respiratory system it may be co existing infection. In typhoid you can give normal diet only if liver function is altered fatty food should be restricted, give protein rich food in frequent meals. give milk, avoid fat rich diet for some days,
