My Dad Is Having His Aeortic Valve Replaced. What Would Be The Next Step ?

My 65yr old dad is having his aeortic valve replaced. Docs ask if he wants real tissue or mechanical valve? Any experience and if so what would you suggest. The doc is leaving it up to my dad who of course has no idea pros and cons of EITHER !!!
