Muscular pain in my back on lowering head or doing neck exercises, pain located near right shoulder. Treatment?

back pain when I lower my head (shin touches chest )... and also when I exercise my neck (I do a lot of karate). The pain is somewhere near the right shoulder ... When I exercise my arms (rotate them...) It also hurts... I really don t know whether it s a muscle pain or a broken/fragment bone in my back. It really scares me :/

General Surgeon 's  Response
If you are scared, stop all the exercises.
Give rest to the affected areas.
Please take skeletal muscle relaxant tablet along with Gabapentin.
If the symptoms does not subside even after above measures, you have to take X ray and CT scan to rule out any major problem.
But,it looks like a musculo skeletal pain
Wish you good health

Thanks for posting your query,
The symptoms you have described are more likely to be symptoms of muscles strain.
To get relief from the pain and for quick healing:
1. Do hot fomatation at the site.
2. Apply local anti-inflammatory gel 2-3 times a day.
3. Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to reduce pain and local swelling or inflammation.
4. Do not lift weight or try to do exercise that involve painful muscles. Give proper time for it to heal.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful
