Multiple Ulcer In Colon, Do Drink, Smoke. How Long Will It Take To Get Cured Through Vegaz?

I am the patient of small multiple ulcer in collon.my doctor prescribe vegaz od for 3 month.At the beginning i got relief while taking medicine but now i got the same problem.what type of diet i have to take and how many more i have to take this drugs.On the other hand i have bad habite of drinking and smoking(ocasionally)

Hello, the condition you are suffering from is ulcerative colitis. It is an inflamatory bowel disease. Multiple ulcers are present in colon. This condition is highly influenced by diet & more than the drugs, dietary factors play an important role in the management of this problem.
Alcohol results in relapse of the condition & hence it is recurring for you.
Vegaz is Mesalamine used in the treatment of mild ulcerative colitis. Acts by inhibiting the production of substances like prostaglandins & cytokines that cause inflamation.
Well, you should avoid spicy food, alcohol, caffiene, meat & diary products.
Diet rich in complex carbohydrates & protein, soy products & whole grain is helpful.
