Hi, name is Joli'. I am 36 years old. I have been to multiple Doctors concerning sores on my body. The last two Doctor's I saw, sd that I have shingles. I have been tested for everything you can think of, and this is all anyone can come up will. Cultures were performed and sent to a lab. When I was 7, I had chicken pox, but I only had 2. Although I was the one who contracted them, I gave them to my brother's who were covered from head to toe. These sores, that started out at the crown of my head, progressed to my face, and eventually my arms. I only have a few on my arms though. I have had this for over 8 months now. The pain is almost unbearable. It is so bad that I will not leave my home. My Dad took me to the ER on two separate occasions, and the only thing they did was treat me like a junkie. They repeatedly asked me what type of drugs I was on, specifically Crystal Meth. After my drug test came back negative, repeatedly, it was almost as if they were embarrassed, wrote me some antibiotics, and sent me on my way. I was totally humiliated. Needless to say, bc of the treatment that I received, I'm a bit gun shy. I know that everyone who see's me, thinks the same thing, so I'm embarrassed to go to a Doctor. I do not use drugs. This has left scars all over my face and on my skull. Do you have any suggestions on what I could do to help out my situation? Maybe what type of Doctor I should see.
