It is unfortunate that you had an accident and subsequent fracture
of thigh bone which healed but there is persistent problem with balancing yourself.
I suggest you discuss your case with an orthopedician who specialises in joint surgery and who can examine your knee joint abnormality in detail and provide necessary treatment options. If you are still walking with a stick a year after your fracture, you must consult a physiotherapist who can help you in muscle strengthening and locomotion exercises. This should be done in close supervision of your doctor.
