Muffled Ears After Injury, No Blood. Will It Heal?

3 days ago, i got slapped in the ear by my friend. the pain lasted for 2 or 3 minutes but my ears feel muffled as in theres wax in it. i tried popping my ears by holding on my nose and blowing but i can feel air coming out of my ear. I havent seen a doctor yet because there wasnt blood or any other symptoms like head ache or loss of balance. will it heal within 2 months?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query.
It is possible that your ear drum may be injured.
Do not worry.
Traumatic injuries of the drum heal very well unless complicated by infection.
Keep your ears dry and do not let any water to get in.
Do not probe your ears or try to clean them with buds.
See an ENT specialist to confirm the injury.
Regards,
Dr Kishori.
