Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to bacillary dysentery or amoebic dysentery. Other possibilities like inflammatory bowel problems or polyps etc.

Use tablet ofloxacin and ornidazole. Use sporulac. If symptoms do not improve get it done a colonoscopy and consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
