Movement In Abdomen, Irregular Periods. Negative EPT. History Of Tied Tubes. Am I Pregnant?

Hi, my question is...for the last few days, i have been expericencing what feels like fetal movement on the left side of my abdomen , but i had my tubes tied 5 years ago. I had a negative ept. My cycles are irregular, and at times they are so excessive that i have to stay home from work. There is usually small to large of clots, also these cycles can last up to 14 days.....the longest being 19 days. Can i possibly be pregnant? Is there anything i can do to help with these problems of my menstual cycles...i m considering Novasure. What do you suggest?

Hi,
You did not say when you had your last period. You should have a hormonal work up considering the fact that you are having heavy periods that are irregular and this goes in favor of hormonal imbalance coupled with endometrial hyperplasia. You need to have a complete gynecological exam along with a pelvic or trans-vaginal sonogram to rule out local pathology. Also, try to remain stress free, maintain a healthy diet and a balanced weight to remain within the BMI range of 19-25. See your doctor for further assistance. Take care.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.Your symptoms could be of gastro entestinal origin , as pregnancy test also shown negative.
Regarding heavy periods, they are commen in near menopause, and anaemia etc. and the cause should be treated completely. For this you need to consult a gynacologist, who can examine you and treat you accordingly.
Besides i advise you to follow some diet recommendations as take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, egg, meat, fruits and juices to provide the body with suffecient iron, proteins, anti oxidants etc to build up blood and resistance .
Regarding novasure there are both goods and bads , so you can decide and have it for immediate relief. Wishing for good luck and thanks for calling.
